Bon Jovi's "Legendary", the theme song for the Fuji TV drama "Blue Moment", will be released on Wednesday, April 24th!

Universal Music LLC (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fujikura Hisashi; hereinafter referred to as “Universal Music”) will release Bon Jovi’s “Legendary,” the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Blue Moment,” on a CD single exclusively in Japan on Wednesday, April 24th.

Bon Jovi, the rock supergroup, celebrates their 40th anniversary this year with album sales of 130 million copies worldwide.

The song has also been chosen as the theme song for the Fuji TV Wednesday 10pm drama “Blue Moment” (starring Yamashita Tomohisa, Deguchi Natsuki, co-starring Mizukami Koji, Kaho and others), which begins airing on April 24th (Wednesday). This marks the first time that Bon Jovi has performed a theme song for a Japanese drama in 24 years, since April 2000, and the first time that they have performed a theme song for a Fuji TV drama.

Bon Jovi selected the song after hearing the concept of the album, and with its positive message and sound, it can be described as an “anthem” that will encourage all generations.

This work also reached No. 1 on the radio airplay charts for the first time in 14 years, and is currently only available as a single CD in Japan. The song was written by Jon Bon Jovi, singer-songwriter and guitarist John Shanks, who is also a member of the band and appears in the artist photo, and has produced Bon Jovi’s recent albums, and composer Billy Falcon, who co-wrote Bon Jovi’s songs “Just Older,” “Bounce,” and “Because We Can.”

The single CD comes with lyrics and a translation. It also includes a radio edit of “Legendary,” and an original sticker sheet featuring the logos of the TV drama “Blue Moment” and Bon Jovi.

The band’s first documentary, “Bon Jovi: Thank You, Goodnight,” will be available on Disney Plus from Friday, April 26th. On Friday, June 7th, the band will release their new album, “Forever,” which will also feature this work.
