Bon Jovi's latest album "Forever", their first in four years, will be released worldwide on Friday, June 7th!

Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hisashi Fujikura; hereafter referred to as “Universal Music”) will simultaneously release Bon Jovi’s latest album “Forever” worldwide on Friday, June 7th. In commemoration of the release, the company will open the “BON JOVI FOREVER POP UP STORE,” Japan’s first pop-up store, on the 1st floor of the UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE on Takeshita Street in Harajuku from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, June 23rd.

Bon Jovi, the rock supergroup, celebrates their 40th anniversary this year with album sales of 130 million copies worldwide.

This is the first new album in four years since the previous album “2020,” and the domestic version will be released in two formats: deluxe CD and regular CD. It contains a total of 12 songs, including “We Made It Look Easy” and “Seeds,” in which OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder participated as a songwriter, programmer, and backing vocalist, and “Living in Paradise,” co-written by Jon Bon Jovi and Ed Sheeran. In addition, the domestic CD version will include two bonus tracks, for a total of 14 songs. It will also include commentary, lyrics, and translations by music critic Masanori Ito, who is also a driving force behind Bon Jovi’s long-standing ties with Japan.

The deluxe edition Blu-ray includes full song commentary by Jon Bon Jovi, behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the album “Forever,” the music video for the new song “Legendary,” and HD restored music videos for classic hits “Runaway,” “Living on a Prayer,” and “It’s My Life.”

The pop-up store “BON JOVI FOREVER POP UP STORE” will be open at the UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE in Harajuku’s Takeshita Street from June 7th (Friday) to June 23rd (Sunday). It will feature a life-sized version of the “Forever” album jacket without John on it, a photo spot where anyone can become John by taking a photo, and life-sized panels where you can take photos with the band members. In addition to standard items such as T-shirts, tote bags, clear files, and key chains featuring the visuals of “Forever,” the store will also sell a variety of original products, including Japanese items such as hand towels and teacups that are unique to Japan.

In addition, five HMV stores nationwide (Sendai, Tachikawa, Yokohama, Shinsaibashi, and Hakata) will be running limited-time shops from June 7th (Friday) to June 23rd (Sunday) where they will sell some of the products from the Harajuku pop-up store along with the Bon Jovi album.
