Netflix movie “The story of how I, who had only one year left to live, met you, who had only six months left to live.”

Brimming with artistic talent, Hayasaka Akito (Nagase Ren) was aiming to win a prize in the Nikaten Exhibition, but was found to have a tumor in his heart and was told he only had a year left to live. One day, as he spent each day monotonously suppressing his emotions, he meets Sakurai Haruna (Deguchi Natsuki), who was painting on the hospital rooftop. Akito is gradually drawn to Haruna, who murmurs about the beautiful painting he has drawn, “Heaven. That’s where I’m going soon,” and casually tells a stranger, “I only have six months left to live.” By continuing to hide his illness from Haruna and working desperately for those he cares about, Akito’s remaining inorganic time is brought to life.
