The first best album, “Frozen The Best,” a specially planned album for Japan, will be released on Friday, July 5th!

The Disney animated film “Frozen” was the biggest hit in Disney history (note 1), grossing over 127.9 billion yen worldwide and winning numerous awards including the Academy Award and the Grammy Award. It also grossed an astounding 25.5 billion yen in Japan, sparking a “Frozen boom” among children and adults alike.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Japanese theatrical release, we will release “Frozen The Best,” the first best album of the Frozen series, which is a specially planned album for Japan. In addition, it has been decided that the third sequel to the Frozen series will be produced in 2026.

The work will be released on CD and digital, and the CD will include a full-color booklet with lyrics for all the songs, as well as a sleeve case with a jacket design. It will include all the Japanese songs from the feature-length films “Frozen” (2014) and “Frozen 2” (2019), including “Let It Go,” which won both an Academy Award® and a Grammy Award and created a “Let It Go” whirlwind in Japan, the duet “Open the Door,” which has many cover videos uploaded to video sharing sites, and the dynamic song “Into the Unknown,” which is filled with Elsa’s feelings as she steps “into the unknown world.”

The bonus track “Perfect Day” from the short film “Frozen Elsa’s Surprise” (2015) is also included. This is the definitive album that includes the music from the “Frozen” series.
