Universal Music LLC (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fujikura Hisashi; hereinafter referred to as “Universal Music”) will release RIIZE’s Japanese debut single “Lucky” on Thursday, September 5th.
After officially debuting with their first single album “Get A Guitar” in September last year, the album sales exceeded 1.01 million copies in one week. RIIZE’s first mini album “RIIZING” released in Korea sold a million copies in four days after its release. RIIZE is a K-POP group that is active globally, having won two titles in Japan, including the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Ranking.
This Japanese debut single contains three songs: the title track “Lucky,” which contains the message “Lucky is up to us!”; the coupling track “Be My Next,” which begins with cheerful laughter and talking; and the straightforward love song “Same Key,” which expresses the sentiment, “Even if I live a different life, I will definitely meet you and fall in love.”
The album will be released in 15 formats:[First Press Limited Edition A]with a 36-page photobook shot specifically for this album,[First Press Limited Edition B]with a DVD containing the music video for “Lucky” and about 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage,[Regular Edition][Completely Limited Edition]with 6 member solo albums in a 7-inch record-sized paper jacket as a special Japan debut version, and[UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE Limited Edition]with 6 member solo albums with different designs. Each edition will include an original photo card and a lottery ticket (serial number) that can be used to enter a lottery to apply for a purchase-only event and merchandise benefits. The purchase-only event will be held for two days on October 15th (Tue) and 16th (Wed) at a certain location in Kanagawa Prefecture.
RIIZE is currently holding the “2024 RIIZE FAN-CON ‘RIIZING DAY'”, which is visiting nine countries and regions, mainly in Asia.
