Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takashi Fujikura / Universal Music) has released the best album “All the Greatest Dudes” to commemorate GLIM SPANKY’s 10th anniversary of their major debut. (Read: All the Greatest Dudes) will be released on Wednesday, November 27th.
GLIM SPANKY is a two-man rock unit from Nagano Prefecture who made their major debut in 2014. In addition to working on many theme songs for dramas, movies, anime, etc., including the newly written theme song for the movie “ONE PIECE FILM GOLD”, “Kureyo”, he has also written songs for Momoiro Clover Z, Mone Kamishiraishi, DISH//, Maki Nomiya, Virtual・We also actively provide music to artists in a wide range of genres, including singers’ flower records.
This album includes “Fighter,” “Kaze ni Kissite,” and “Himitsu wo Kimi ni feat. Hanfu,” which were digitally released this year, as well as new songs “Akai Watachi,” “Hallucination,” and “Ai ga Saiteru Mafe feat. LOVE. Contains 28 songs including “PSYCHEDELICO”. The members select songs based on requests from fans, and from the early days of strumming rough and hard garage/blues rock, the genre has changed over time as the genre has diversified, and GLIM SPANKY has developed a rock unique to GLIM SPANKY. The band sound that has continued to be concentrated.
“Until the love is filled feat. LOVE PSYCHEDELICO” is an ambitious work produced with LOVE PSYCHEDELICO, including lyrics, composition, arrangement, recording, and mixing. This is a gem number that perfectly blends the colors of GLIM SPANKY and LOVE PSYCHEDELICO. The two groups have often performed together at festivals and events, deepening their friendship, and thanks to an enthusiastic offer from GLIM SPANKY, they have collaborated on song production for the first time. “Hallucination” is a challenging work in which Naoki Itai, who has worked on numerous hit songs, collaborated on the sound production, from arrangement to mix.
The DVD includes the entire “The Goldmine Tour 2024” held at Hibiya Park Concert Hall in Tokyo on March 24th. In addition to posting photos taken for the best album, the photo booklet will also include photos taken at Shibuya Chelsea Hotel (August 7, 2024) and Zepp Shinjuku (August 30, 2024) of “GLIM SPANKY 10th Anniversary Tour 2024”. You can also enjoy the live photos.

A two-man rock unit from Nagano Prefecture. It features Remi Matsuo’s husky and one-of-a-kind singing voice and Hiroki Kamemoto’s bluesy and emotional guitar.
