The much-talked-about pianist “Ryo Gojoin” will return to Osaka Sankei Hall Breeze on December 1st (Friday) with the 13-concert national tour “So Fabulous Concert” that started in Osaka in March 2023. It was held at
This performance was also held in the now familiar two-part style.
The set list was created around two works, the original album “Fabulous” and the cover album “Oaishu”, and at times it was avant-garde with rhythm track keyboards, and at other times it was a relaxing time with live piano performance.
For the encore, they performed “Memory of Love” and “Rose Waltz” with only a live piano, and expressed their feelings, “Next year, I want to do a piano-only recital concert without PA!”
Several schedules for next year have already been announced, and it seems that a new type of live piano concert will be held soon, so be sure to check out the upcoming schedule as well.
Then, just as Gojoin was about to leave the stage to loud applause, the audience once again cheered for an encore. When Gojoin stopped, various song titles echoed from the audience.
Gojoin returned to the piano and performed an impromptu medley of “Shipwreck”, “Autumn Cherry Blossoms”, “SWEET MEMORIES”, “Idol”, and “Roses Scatter Beautifully”.
The venue was filled with thunderous applause for this super surprise present. With endless applause behind him, Ryo Gojoin left the stage.
Ryo Gojoin’s piano performance encapsulates Gojoin’s gorgeousness and sublimates it into a song in her own unique world, regardless of whether it’s an original song or a cover song.
The only concert remaining this year is the special Christmas event at the Narita International House on Sunday, December 24th, “So Fabulous Concert 2023 ~O Merry O Christmas~”, but it’s worth going from far away to see it.
