YUNGBLUD & OneRepublic will be used as the OP/ED theme song for the anime “Kaiju No. 8”!

It has been decided that YUNGBLUD will perform the opening theme and OneRepublic will perform the ending theme for the anime “Kaiju No. 8,” which will begin broadcasting in April. Both are new songs written specifically for “Kaiju No. 8”.

YUNGBLUD’s opening theme, “Abyss,” was co-written with Grammy Award-winning artist Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds. It’s a punk, hard-hitting song with the theme of the conflict of Kafka Hibino, Kaiju No. 8, who was suddenly parasitized by a monster and turned into a monster himself.
