THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT, who debuted on February 1, 1996 with “The End of the World”, will celebrate 30 years since their debut in 2026, and in order to preserve their works for future generations as a permanent preservation version, they have created the 30th anniversary project “THEE 30TH” has started. The “THEE 30TH” logo and special website have been released.
At the same time, release information was also announced, and the live video collection “THEE LIVE” (released in 2010) will be released on Blu-ray on February 1, 2025. Furthermore, on March 1st, the 1st album “cult grass stars” (released in 1996), and on April 1st, the 2nd album “High Time” (released in 1996: analog version title “is this High Time?”), the original Digital distribution including high-resolution sound sources that have been newly remastered from the master tape will begin, and the analog version will be re-released. The analog version will be released as a 180g weight disc cut from the latest remastered sound source.
The analog version has special benefits for each CD shop, such as Tower Records’ square tin badge, HMV’s smartphone sticker, Disc Union’s keychain, and Amazon’s mega jacket on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, the first digital distribution of the best album “THEE GREATEST HITS” (released in 2009) will begin on February 1st. Release information will be revealed one after another, so please look forward to further updates.
