XG releases advance song “IYKYK” from 2nd mini album! A sampling of m-flo’s “Prism”

■The theme of the new song “IYKYK” is “XG exploring space”

It has been announced that XG will release the second advance song “IYKYK” from their 2nd mini album “AWE” (released on November 8th) on October 11th.

“IYKYK” is a song that expresses the challenge of XG to break through the limits with new attempts, and depicts the XG members exploring the endless universe by exceeding the speed of light. The message is “Let’s set out on a journey to…”.

In addition, a 2-Step rhythm is added to the sound sampled from m-flo’s “Prism” released in 2001, creating a feeling of floating in space and heightened anticipation for the journey that is about to begin.

As the chorus lyrics, “IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW” mean, “those who understand, will understand,” anyone who understands will want to join us on this journey towards a new dimension.

“WOKE UP REMIXX (PROD BY JAKOPS)” was held on September 20th with the participation of rappers representing Japanese and Korean hip hop, Jay Park, OZworld, AKLO, Paloalto, VERBAL (m-flo), Awich, Tak, and Dok2. XG released. At Japan’s largest hip-hop festival “THE HOPE” held on September 22nd, XG members JURIN, HARVEY, MAYA, and COCONA made a surprise appearance on Awich’s live stage and performed their collaboration song “WOKE UP REMIXX ( PROD BY JAKOPS)” was performed.
