METEORA st., a creator label operated by ISARIBI Inc., is pleased to announce that it will be holding auditions for the second wave of the project for REAL AKIBA JUNIORZ, a new team born from the U-20 Audition Project produced by anime song and dance entertainment YouTuber REAL AKIBA BOYZ.
The formation of a new unit consisting of JUNIORZ members Aoto, YOH, and HARUYOSHI was also announced at the same time.
It has been announced that the second round of REAL AKIBA JUNIORZ project auditions will be held in the winter of 2024. Details will be announced at a later date.
At the same time, REAL AKIBA JUNIORZ’s X announced the formation of a new unit within JUNIORZ. The members are Aoto, YOH, and HARUYOSHI, but the unit name and activity period will be announced at a later date. Please check the official X or HP for the latest information.
REAL AKIBA JUNIORZ will be appearing at “METEORA ANTHEM FES VOL.2” on Sunday, August 4th, as well as at “Toshima Beer Festival” (JUNIORZ will only appear on August 12th), and “JUST FOR FUN vol.4” on Saturday, September 21st.
REAL AKIBA JUNIORZ
In 2023, REAL AKIBA BOYZ (hereinafter referred to as RAB) will be showcasing the “otaku performance” that they have built up over their 15-year history.
While continuing the entertainment tradition of the “otaku group,” RAB is currently focused on street dance, and seeking a new form of otaku entertainment that is not limited to that, they held an audition with the aim of forming a new generation performance entertainment unit made up of young people under the age of 20. This nine-person unit was formed by adding Ryu, the only teenager in RAB, to the eight members who were formed through the audition.
The members will be selected at the final audition in May 2023, and will perform at LIVE “ROOTS” 2 on July 8 of the same year.
After that, they appeared at various events, and in May 2025, they performed at the Yokohama MM Arena at the “Z Festival” where they thrilled the audience.
On Sunday, July 21, 2025, they held their first solo concert at Tokyo Kinema Club.
