Danish world-renowned rock band VOLBEAT’s latest single, “By A Monster’s Hand,” is released urgently! It has also been revealed that they will release their original album, “God Of Angels Trust,” which will be their ninth in a total of about four years, at the same time around the world on June 6th!
The album’s premier single, “By A Monster’s Hand,” depicts a fictional story about a serial killer. “This song is inspired by some of the real serial killers in history. I don’t mention their names, but it’s true that they existed in this world, and some of them are still alive today. It’s nice that they were caught, trapped and abandoned their keys. It’s also true that people who are just keeping them in crime and are just supporting them. This song expresses the worldview of them as they still wander around searching for the keys of their prisons, even after they’re trapped,” says frontman Michael Poulsen. This is an addictive number with a unique worldview projected on heavy riffs and striking melody.
