Satoko Shibata appears in Tower Records “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” poster opinion advertisement series

Satoko Shibata will appear in the latest edition of Tower Records’ “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” opinion advertising series.

Satoko Shibata released the album “Your Favorite Things” last year and another version of it, “My Favorite Things.” On Wednesday, January 29th of this year, she released “Your Favorite Things” and her previous album “Bochi Bochi Ginga.” We have also decided to repress the LP record of “My Favorite Things” and release the LP record of “My Favorite Things.”

The more I seriously think about what kind of era we are living in, the more I don’t really understand it as someone who is living in the moment.

It’s scary to live in the present and say that these are the times.

Just like in the past, it’s just a combination of an incredible number of coincidences, and I feel like it’s impossible to grasp.

I think of them as clouds in the sky or waves in the ocean.

I think music was invented by humans by chance in the midst of this kind of swell, but I feel like it has more power than humans realize.

I believe that the developments that exceed human expectations, the incomprehensibility, and the amusing things that cannot be put into words, which appear here and there in history, help humanity.

And I am one of those who have been helped by the depth of their bosom.

(Satoko Shibata)
